MyanMyanPay ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our Merchants and their Customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our payment gateway, SDKs, Storefronts, and POS systems.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information from Merchants

To operate our Services and comply with financial regulations (KYC/KYB), we collect:

  • Financial Data - Bank account details for settlement
  • Contact Data - Phone, Email, Address
  • Identity Data - NRC, Company Registration, Tax ID

B. Information from Customers (End-Users)

When a customer pays via MyanMyanPay, we process:

  • Delivery Data - Name, Address, Phone (only if provided for Storefront delivery)
  • Payment Method Data - Wallet IDs, Masked Card Numbers. Note: We do not store sensitive card authentication data (CVV/PIN).
  • Transaction Data - Amount, Date, Time

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the secure operation of our payment gateway (e.g., maintaining login sessions).
  • Analytics: We may use anonymous tools to understand how our services are used to improve user experience.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Processing Transactions - To facilitate payments between Customers and Merchants.
  • Settlement - To deposit funds into Merchant bank accounts.
  • Risk & Fraud Prevention - To monitor for suspicious activity, money laundering, or prohibited activities.
  • Legal Compliance - To comply with Myanmar Central Bank regulations and other applicable laws.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We may share information with financial partners (Banks, KBZPay, Wave, Visa/Mastercard) strictly to complete transactions. We also share data with secure cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare) who host our infrastructure. We will disclose information to law enforcement if required by Myanmar law.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is securely stored on cloud servers with industry-standard encryption. We retain transaction and KYC data for as long as required by financial regulations (typically 5-7 years), after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your role (Merchant or Customer), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access & Correction: Merchants can view and edit their profile and business data directly via the Dashboard settings.
  • Account Deletion: You may request account closure by contacting support. Please note that we must retain certain transaction records for legal and tax compliance.

8. Specific Provisions for Our Features

Cloud POS

Data entered into the POS is synced to our cloud. You are responsible for keeping your POS device secure.

Merchant Storefront

We host customer data on your behalf. You agree not to misuse this data for unsolicited marketing.

Core SDK

MyanMyanPay acts as a Data Processor. You (the Merchant) are the Data Controller responsible for obtaining user consent.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not addressed to anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
